Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

Our favorite thing is spending time in the lounge and kitchen, the space is just lovely, the light is really beautiful, and it’s a really relaxing place to be. The whole house is filled with light and feels very connected to the outside.

We’re keen gardeners, and have really enjoyed spending time experimenting with the big yard. We had six big veggie beds in at one point, and discovered that we couldn’t get through the abundant crop… So scaled back to grow what we needed, and include more trees and perennials. This also meant we could spend a bit more time getting out to enjoy the local area.

There are lots of lovely people living in the street that we’ll be sad to leave.

What we love about this suburb:

It’s great to have Crispe Park at the end of the street. While we don’t have children, we always take our friends children to the excellent (and recently upgraded) playground in Wright Reserve. Not to mention the short walk to Edwardes Lake Park for a bit exercise.

We love being near to both Edwardes St and Preston Market for all the shops and the Coles and Woolworths. We’re just round the corner from the fabulous cakes at Il Pasticcino (including croissants on Sunday) and Dimattina which has the reputation of the best coffee in Reservoir, not to mention the pizza and ice cream at Off the Boat which is a regular favourite.

There’s a monthly food swap at Reservoir Junction where we exchange our garden produce with other like-minded locals, and a new bike route between Edwardes St and Northcote just two streets across.

Why we are selling:

A new job in the eastern suburbs, so we’re moving to be closer to that.

Vendor Review

Professional and supportive, and achieved a great outcome

Michelle was professional, available to support us when we needed, provided clear and helpful advice, and was very easy and pleasant to deal with. We felt like her advice and work helped us to achieve a much higher price than we had imagined likely. We enjoyed working with her and were really pleased we selected her as our agent.
