Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

When looking for our home, we sought space for a garden and a future family and we fell in love with the traditional style and open space of 24 Regent St. We have always loved the bay windows and the flowering of the plum tree in spring through the bedroom window, alongside that glimpse of the city skyline.

We really appreciate the twelve fruit trees that deliver all-year round citrus, heritage apples and amazing summer fruits and as a family we value all the storage this great home packs in.

The kitchen counter and dinner table are the hub of the home in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for family dinner. The northern aspect has meant lots of long mornings and lunches in the sunny backyard.

What we love about this suburb:

Everyone loves Preston Market, Dexter, Cheshire cafe, Pho Hung, the Food Truck Park and the multitude of other foodie treats in easy walking distance from this home.

We love that the commute to work is easy with all public transport in walking distance and arguably Melbourne’s best bike path straight to the city right on your doorstep.

There are also great local primary schools nearby and we’re excited about Preston High School opening in 2019.

Why we are selling:

We are currently looking for a house that might accommodate elderly parents and our children.

Any other information:

We recently had architects develop concepts for a modern second story extension to capitalize on the existing city view. If you are the lucky purchaser please ask us about them.
