Authentic 1930s style, brilliantly located
Owners Notes
What we love about this home:
We love our home because it was built in the 1930’s with lots of unique features.
We have retained the beautiful decorative ceilings, art deco light fittings and the spacious large rooms. Our house also has leadlight windows and doors that reflect coloured light throughout the day.
We have fond memories of growing up in this home, of a happy childhood playing in our backyard and riding up and down the laneway at the back of the house. We also had a park nearby and the Merri Creek to explore with our friends.
What we love about this suburb:
West Preston is a wonderful, vibrant suburb with a lot of beautiful homes built in the early 1900’s.
We are able to stroll down to Miller Street cafes and shops, or travel not far too High Street with all the fantastic eateries and the Preston Market. Northland Shopping Centre and Northcote Plaza is also within easy reach. The city is a short drive or easily accessed by trams. Walk down Kendall Street to the ‘swinging bridge’ which crosses the Merri Creek or explore the beautiful natural surroundings.
