What we love about this home:

We instantly loved the spacious feeling of our unit, the afternoon sun streams in to the kitchen, lounge and outdoor area.  We saw the instant potential to update this home and make every space usable. We have updated the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, transformed the outdoor area to create a great extra space for entertaining that is usable all through the year and we have added special touches such as recycled hardwood shelves.

We love the greenery around our home, from the herb garden to the lawn, and established plants creating a serene environment. Being the rear unit of three at the end of the driveway, it is very quiet and is great having use of the area in front of our house for parking and extra space for the family to utilize.

We find our power bills are really reduced with solar panels for electricity and hot water as well as the split system air-con that is very efficient to heat and cool the unit plus there is the added bonus of the use of a water tank.

What we love about this suburb:

We love Raglan St being a wide tree lined street and there are many fantastic dining, cafe and bar options just at the end of the street, within easy walking distance.  It’s very convenient having many public transport options with buses, tram and train all within walking distance making it so easy to get to the city or other suburbs.

Being south of Bell St we are lucky having so many dining and shopping options on High St in Preston and Thornbury, Preston market, Northland shopping centre, good parks to choose from and great school options.

Why we are selling:

We are selling as we are moving to Queensland and need a family home for our growing family.
