17 Claremont Crescent, Reservoir, VIC, 3073
Vast Family Entertainer
Designed to offer the growing family plenty of flexibility, the home's modern kitchen, meals and living areas are arranged around a broad breakfast counter. This home also includes a more formal lounge and dining space. An extraordinary paved undercover outdoor living area is certain to capture the imagination of proud home entertainers.
With rich polished timber floors, the home exudes a feel of contemporary class. The master bedroom is a genuine retreat with an ensuite and large robes. All of the bedrooms feature built in robes and the home includes a second bathroom, central heating, cooling and an enormous triple garage, with additional storage and direct internal access to the main home.
You and your children will enjoy vast expanses of nearby parkland and playgrounds. From this position you will relish the opportunity to conveniently commute to the CBD via Keon Park Railway Station or to easily access the Metropolitan Ring Road. A short drive sees you in the heart of Reservoir, at both Edwardes Lake and Edwardes St, where the outdoor and cafe scenes, restaurants and strip shopping are terrific.
What we love about this home:
We purchased the property as our first home in early 2000. The spaciousness and open plan living were instantly appealing, as was the potential to modernise and improve it to suit our needs. We added a three-car garage, study, installed a new kitchen, updated bathroom and laundry areas and invested in solid timber floors, for a modern touch.
Externally, we landscaped the front yard, and created the ultimate outdoor living/ entertainment area witnesses many family gatherings, as we loved hosting get-togethers and celebrations. As we expanded from a couple to a family, it also provided a secure and considerable space for your children to play in. We really appreciated the advantage of two indoor living spaces, especially once the kids came along! The position of the home in a crescent was also a plus for us, as was having the creek and parkland at the rear of the property.
What we love about this suburb:
This is a quiet area, conveniently located close to many points of interest. Accessibility to the Western Ring Road is a draw-card, added to the convenience of having multiple train stations and bus stops close by. There are many parks and playgrounds in the area, the closest being only a couple of minutes’ walks or a bike ride away and the picturesque Edwardes Lake is not far. Easy access to schools, sporting clubs/facilities, shopping precincts, eateries and other services, enhance the livability of the area.
Why we are selling:
It was a difficult decision to sell. So many amazing and unforgettable memories were created here, for so many! The property has been an investment for the past 2 years and our tenants share our love for the home. Although, it is a wonderful home, our path needs to change with growing needs of our family.
With great appreciation I thank Peter…
