What we love about this home

183 Elizabeth Street is our first home that we built in 2013. At 9 years young, we still vividly remember being the first house in this part of Elizabeth Street that was completed.

Although we purchased off the plan, we've made some upgrades to the design and materials. We changed the kitchen layout to allow for a better flow, added stone waterfall to the kitchen island bench, and upgraded to stone vanity in all the bathrooms to name a few. We wanted to make sure that our house not only looks good but also functional for many years to come.

The backyard is our first DIY project in this house. Our design in mind was to have multiple zones that is low maintenance and functional. We've enjoyed a few parties and we've even watched the New Year’s Eve fireworks from the city view in our backyard!

We love the open plan layout of the kitchen, dining and living that extends to the backyard when the bifold doors are fully open. This part of the house is west facing, and we get to enjoy plenty of sunshine and natural light which is very handy during the winter months.

We have enjoyed the low maintenance lifestyle in our home, and we've had plenty of opportunity to spend time with family and making memories in it.

What we love about this suburb

Being 9kms from the CBD was the selling point that got our attention about Coburg North. It is a great location that is family friendly with walking distance to Woolworths, cafes, schools, public transport, parks and playgrounds, Edgar's creek, Coburg Lake, Edwardes Lake.

Why we are selling

We have outgrown this home and looking for a bigger house.
