Isabelle has been fantastic to work with, telling us about the property before it went on the market, taking us through it before the first open and working with the building inspector on short notice. I’m not sure how the model of Nelson Alexander works but I thought it was interesting that the listing agents did not engage with us at all in the lead up to the auction without my initiation. No conversations at inspections, no follow up calls or texts. I had to touch base with Isabelle to get a copy of the contract because it was not offered by the listing agent. Henry and Roland were also not present at the scheduled 12:45pm inspection on 11 June, where 6 parties including ourselves waited for about 15 minutes before we left. In 15 months of property searching, I have not experienced this before. On auction day the team were great, but since then there has been no contact offering next steps to arrange final inspection or refer questions to the vendors, except with Isabelle which to me feels quite bizarre. Aside from the client handling model and missed inspection, the experience has been as expected.
