What we love about this home: 

44 Melcombe Road was the perfect place to raise two small boys to young adults, where they could have friends over in a private and safe environment. It has an open, homely feel, yet there are plenty of spaces to do your own thing.

Here, cold weather never stops a BBQ, and the whole home integrates with the outside to form the ultimate entertainment zone.

The double glazed windows allow plenty of light in, and the garden setting to be seen, without the interference of window coverings

The wine cellar is discrete yet allows plenty of storage for wines, spirits and those rarely used kitchen appliances. We’ve even cooked up a mean home brew beer or two in there as the temperature is really stable.

And the above-garage loft allows endless storage possibilities.

What we love about Ivanhoe:

Schools, supermarkets, boutique stores, restaurants, bars and cafes are all within an easy walking distance. High quality medical services, and public and private hospitals are also nearby.

It’s leafy and green, but still so close to town. It has a kind of intimate village feel to it, and the road network means easy access to so many other parts of Melbourne.

Even the trains and buses from Ivanhoe can get you almost anywhere in Melbourne.
