We decided to put our investment property on the market in early August 2016. At the time we had tenants. We met with Edisa Hasanki and Marek Olech. Edisa managed the tenancy facilitating an early break of the lease by the tenants so that we could gain access by Sept 5. Marek gave us exemplary guidance as to the steps that needed to be taken in preparing the property. He was very effective in organising assessments and quotes from the handyman, painter and interior stylists. He facilitated and co-ordinated the work so that we could bring the property to market on Oct 22. The photography and advertising campaign were very effective. We were particularly impressed by the editorial Marek managed to have included in the Age promotion for Fitzroy. There were a couple of unexpected events in the last week of the campaign which caused us a great deal of stress but which Marek dealt with in a calm and assured fashion.
