What we love about this home:

As we moved from a Federation home we built in Lower Plenty we instantly fell in love with the charm of 14 Beatty Street, Ivanhoe. As soon as we saw it for sale we wanted to purchase it.

We had a vision to transform this little gem into a home suitable for a family of six.  Now we love the interior its clean modern lines and a lovely view from all windows.

We love sitting outside in the warm north facing rear yard reading the paper or relaxing by the pool. As we love to entertain, this house is the perfect entertainer.

Beatty Street was a family project with the help of our daughters; building and interior designers the house is exactly how we envisaged it.

What we love above the suburb.

Firstly we love our friendly neighbours and the tree-lined streets. It’s only a short walk around the corner to our favourite café to buy my Chai Almond milk latte and the convenience of a post office and take away shops.

Shopping in the area is convenient – Ivanhoe shops offering nearly everything you require but it is only a short drive to a major shopping centre or a quick train into the city.

We love to walk to local cafes and restaurants especially in Summer and the train station also is only a short walk away.

Why we are selling.

Our family has moved out and we are now looking to downsize.
