What we love about this home:
As a young family, we wanted to design a home that was practical and offered room for a growing family with enough outdoor space for young children and entertaining less the high maintenance. And we got just that and we love it.
Everything in this architecturally bespoke designed home has been carefully hand-picked by ourselves from the hardwood flooring, kitchen appliances, fittings and stone benchtops to the colour and design, giving it the luxury, charm and character it has today.
We love the open plan kitchen / living area the home has to offer especially with the children it’s so easy when everything is within an arm’s reach. Not to mention it is fabulous for entertaining too. With plenty of windows the house is soaked with an abundance of sunlight throughout the day giving it a feeling of warmth, it’s fabulous.
What we love about this suburb:
We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to live in Heidelberg. The neighbourhood is very peaceful, filled with the sounds of wildlife and native species and surrounded by friendly neighbours.
The location is very handy to a selection of parklands at our doorstep and Heidelberg’s wonderful selection of boutique shops and neighbourhood cafes along trendy Burgundy Street.
Everything is so convenient and within close proximity to Avoca St. Heidelberg has a wonderful range of facilities such as Public Transport, where buses and trains are plentiful, Hospitals, Primary and Secondary Schools and Warringal Shopping Centre is only a skip away.
Why we are selling:
Now with two little girls under the age of 2 it is very important to us to be within very close proximity to both our families for their support. Thus with much regret we have made the difficult decision to relocate close to them.
