What we love about this home:
Our cosy & bright home has been in the family spanning four generations. When we bought Young Street we were 19 and 21 years old. So lucky to be able to start our lives together & “grow up” in such a great area. We spent a few years making the house our home & 13 years on, we still love every minute we spend there. It’s retained its period charm so beautifully & there’s nothing better than coming home from a long day to the birds chirping, soaking in the claw foot bath & reading a good book. With us both being keen cooks, the kitchen layout has been amazing & is the heart of the home. The large island bench has been fantastic in providing huge amounts of space to cook up a storm with plenty of room for ingredients, cook books, appliances & gadgets. With the sink, stove, pantry & fridge close by, everything is within easy reach with the island bench being a free space. We congregate around the island bench for hours, having long conversations, cooking & our much needed morning coffees. Young street has truly been an amazing home.

What we love about the suburb:
Preston is close to everything we want in a suburb, including high street cafes & restaurants, markets, boutique shopping, Northland Shopping Centre, parks, public transport & schools, yet still close to the CBD. The neighborhood is so friendly with a beautifully diverse demographic & while the suburb continues to grow, it still retains its rich heritage & community feel.

Why we are selling:
We are seeking new adventures, to create new & exciting memories, & with our expanding family, a fresh start for the next chapter of our life.
