Owners Notes

What we have loved about the home:

  • Access to the city and being able to walk or cycle to work in minutes. At the same time having all the parkland surrounding the home and even zoo animals to listen to.
  • Many, many laps walking around Princes Park over the 20 years we have been here.
  • Cricket grounds, tennis, golf and cycle path all just across the road.
  • Nearby fantastic family oriented sporting clubs, conveniently located within walking distance, we didn’t need to drive our children too often to participate in sport or socialise.
  • As our children grew up and outgrew their back yard it was reassuring to know they could meet up and gather with neighbourhood friends just across to road on the on the oval, at the cricket nets, building cubbies and riding their bikes.
  • We have had some really great kids parties. The pool has a deck that can be added. It was turned into a stage on a few memorable occasions.
  • Despite being close to everything, it is really a very quiet street overlooking parkland on 2 sides so has a great sense of space. Coming from the country I really enjoyed living with this sense of space - An oasis close to the city.
  • Being the last terrace in the row with north facing boundary where we added a slot window, it is an extremely light filled terrace.
  • Lazy weekend mornings looking out the master bedroom window to the trees beyond or lazy afternoons soaking up the sun on the upstairs balcony.
