What we love about this home:

This home has been a peaceful haven over our 5 years here. Having longstanding neighbours provides stability and a community vibe. An informal neighbourhood watch operates, along with mutual favours such as mail collection and putting out bins

Our grandchildren have learned to ride bikes on Rose Street and we’ve played tennis and basketball there.

We are bike riders and again the Rose St garage access and bike storage are a bonus.

We have always incorporated garden into our homes. Here we enjoy greenery from every window. The view from the fully opening glass wall to the north facing courtyard is special, especially the creeper-laden overhead wires. The subtle garden lighting allows garden viewing after hours.

Dual street frontage enabling easy and safe access to parking, plus a 5 minute walk to Clifton Hill Train Station make this part of O’Grady Street a desirable location. The house is quickly accessed and exited. For travellers it is easily locked up and left.

What we love about this suburb:

This part of Clifton Hill is a quiet little pocket, occasionally punctuated early by hot air balloons floating to Darling Gardens. There is a comprehensive neighbourhood supermarket in Spensley St and 2 convenience stores nearby. Why we are selling:

This home has been perfect during a ‘downsizing ‘period of our lives. However, almost daily involvement with grandchildren has propelled us to ‘upsize’ again.
