What we love about this home:

We purchased this property 7.5 years ago as we wanted to buy into the Preston area. It was a basic little house when we bought it and we have loved updating it by renovating the outside of the house, putting in the attic for extra storage, creating an amazing main bathroom, opening up the kitchen/dining to deck with sliding glass doors and extending the deck. We love the indoor/outdoor lifestyle this house provides. We love entertaining friends in this house and our daughter and puppy dog have loved the deck, the secure courtyard and playing in the larger front yard when we are out gardening together. The late afternoon with partial shade is a great time for this.

The neighbours at the back of the block are super lovely and we could not have asked for better neighbours. They are owner/occupiers and are a couple with two young boys. We have always been very respectful of each other’s privacy but have also become friends over the years and will often meet up on the driveway for a chat, or some plant watering or a social drink.

What we love about this suburb:

Preston has been a fantastic place to live. We are nicely positioned between the action on Plenty Road and High Street and the convenience of Northland just 5 minutes away. Walking, driving or public transport are all viable options from here.

Why we are selling:

We are moving to the seaside.
