Owners Notes
We were one of the first to purchase in George Corner (off the plan) and we’ve loved living in this north-facing apartment, in the most perfect location in Fitzroy.
We love being able to walk to Gertrude St in five minutes, to the local pubs and cafes all around us, Edinburgh Gardens as well as the Fitzroy pool is a brief walk to take our kids swimming.
The apartment has 180 degree north facing views with a large deck that we’ve adored spending beautiful summer nights on. Before building completion, we made the effort to customise our apartment with a Miele induction cook top (instead of gas), installed wood panel flooring and had custom built block out blinds added.
The building itself carries all the convenience and safety you need for secure parking for the car and bikes, not to mention the strong community that’s been created between other residents. Being largely owner occupied, means everyone is invested in keeping the building secure and tidy, and someone is always happy to water the plants if you’re away!
Local points of interest: – Tram 86 on Smith Street and tram 11 on Brunswick Street – Fitzroy outdoor pool – Post office 2 minutes down Argyle Street – Coles and Woolworths supermarkets 5- and 8-minute walk respectively – Cafes, bakeries (Lune is great!), restaurants and bars on Smith and Brunswick Streets – Easy walk or tram to Carlton Gardens and Edinburgh Gardens – Multiple bike paths (easy ride to the city).
