Extremely Grateful to Charlie and Team at Nelson Alexander, North Carlton Branch    

This is not the first time I've dealt with Nelson Alexander. After purchasing my Fitzroy apartment from them in 2017, I didn't hesitate to secure their services when selling this property in 2020. After my good experience dealing with Charlie Barham who was the Selling Agent I negotiated the original purchase with, I felt fully confident and happy to put it back into his capable hands once the time came to sell my property. Charlie is supported by a strong team at the North Carlton Branch of Nelson Alexander. I was totally impressed with the company's overall services and clear guidelines in relation to explaining the selling process from start to finish. They certainly live up to their reputation of being professional agents supported by dedicated staff. In particular, I was extremely indebted to Charlie for going above and beyond the scope of his role as selling agent given that I couldn't return to Australia at the time of the sale of my property due to Covid-19. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and Charlie was always eager to help in whatever way he could. Charlie carried out all the logistical steps required to get the apartment sale ready from arranging quotes for maintenance, presenting options for styling, storing unwanted furniture and even went out himself, on his day off, to buy the plants to add to the finishing touches prior to the marketing campaign. Charlie's professionalism as well as his on-hands approach was most welcome and appreciated in my circumstances. As you can imagine, it can be quite nerve-racking selling your place of residence when you are stuck overseas during a global pandemic. However, with Charlie at the helm, I never felt uneasy about the situation I found myself in largely due to his competence and absolute commitment to get the best result. Of course, Charlie made virtual contact with me and kept me updated constantly along the way, and I enjoyed a good working relationship with him. In the end, his hard work payed off managing to sell my property above the reserve price. Charlie has all the personal qualities and professional skills enviable of a good agent in his industry.
