Launch 2026: Good Energy

4 min read

Earlier this month, we officially kicked off the year with Launch 2026 centred around one clear theme: Good Energy.

With the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground as our backdrop, the setting alone felt significant. A place known for big moments, bold ambition and collective spirit – the perfect environment to bring our entire network together.

The iconic MCG set the tone for a day of good energy

Chairman Duncan McPherson opened with a reflection on the milestones of 2025 and the consistency across our network that made them possible. It was a reminder that strong results don’t happen by chance – they’re built through collaboration, discipline and shared standards.

CEO James Keenan and COO Jamie Owen then outlined the strategic priorities for 2026, reinforcing a clear direction for every office and every role. Growth, alignment and continued development of our people sit firmly at the centre of what’s ahead.

Learning from Industry Leaders

Our teams then moved into tailored sessions focused on sharpening skills and expanding capability.

Sales Director Nick West led a dynamic panel discussion featuring sales agents Jayson Watts, Charlie Barham and Alex Edwards, unpacking practical strategies, current market insights and the small daily performance habits that compound into long-term success.

Our property management and support teams then heard from industry leader Hannah Gill on driving growth, building a strong internal culture and creating momentum within teams. Her perspective on leadership and industry progression brought real depth to the room. The message was clear: sustainable growth starts with people, culture and consistent standards.

The day closed with keynote speaker Peter Thurin. After more than 20 years of building and selling successful businesses, Peter’s defining lesson stemmed from something simple – a phone call at 36 to begin Taekwondo and pursue a lifelong goal of becoming a black belt. Now a 3rd Dan Black Belt, his philosophy centres on one powerful idea: life is a choice between what’s easy to do and what’s easy not to do. The gap between progress and stagnation is often just one small decision.

It was a message that resonated strongly in a room full of driven professionals. Growth doesn’t happen by chance – it happens through consistent action.

More Than a Strategy Session

Launch 2026 wasn’t just about setting targets. It was about empowerment. Shared learning. Practical tips and honest conversations about how we continue to develop as real estate professionals and as a network.

It reinforced something we firmly believe: when you invest in your people, performance follows. And for those building a career in real estate, that matters.

If you’re looking for a business that prioritises development, teamwork and long-term growth (not just short-term wins) we’d love to hear from you. Explore our current opportunities here.
