What we love about this home:
We completed building the current home in 2013 just before Christmas. We purchased the land and original house in 1999 because we loved the position and felt the area had a good aura with lots of surrounding nature with the lake, paths, and ovals. Everything you would need was either walking distance or just a few minutes away by car. A very central place.
What do you love about the area?
The cafe scene is awesome and all around us in walking distance. The coffee roaster for beans, the Italian Pasticceria for sweets and crusty bread, Sargeant's for the best meat pie or cream bun. Many Schools, public transport (Regent Tram to Collins Street, Bus stops around the corner, Reservoir Train Station, Preston Market, Edwards St Shopping Precinct, Cono for the best Gelato outside of Italy. Only a few minutes’ drive to exit and entry to main Freeways and literally only a hop, skip and jump to Preston, Coburg, and Bundoora. Walking around Edwards Lake, Ovals across the road, Little Athletics Track, Scouts, Guides, Nature Walk and Bike Paths that take you all the way to Coburg and into City, friendly neighbours and lots of people walking past with their pets willing to stop and chat when we are in the front yard attending the garden.
